These clip on/off connectors are familiar to most gardeners and are the simplest way of bringing your water supply to the LeakyPipe network you have laid out. It connects to the non-leaking supply polypipe which links your system together.  Easily connect your hosepipe to the LeakyPipe system when you want to water, and disconnect it when you want to use your hose for something else.

An Adjustable Pressure Regulator is a device that will adjust itself to allow a suitable downstream pressure in your pipework/Leaky Pipe. It will do this automatically as the input pressure may vary.      It has a 3/4" female input and a 3/4" male output.

They have a barbed push-fit connection and clips are not needed.

A discounted kit for watering raised borders, raised troughs or planters with a total area of up to 125sqm. Create a professional finish with all pipework concealed during construction of the beds. Kits are customisable for the number of raised beds and size of supply pipe. A Kit created for landscape constructors to incorporate watering facilities during the construction of raised beds or planters. The Kits comprises professional leak-free compression fittings and sufficient LeakyPipe to irrigate up to 125m2 of raised beds, planters or troughs.  This kit is designed to be installed at the construction stage of creating raised beds. The fittings allow water to be brought up inside the bed or planter via a 'riser' to the surface of the soil.  

This gives a neat, clean professional look. The 'network' or supply pipe is best created with 20mm or 25mm blue MDPE pipe. The blue pipe isn't included in the kit, but a tee and elbow compression fittings are included to help you create the network. Once at soil level, an elbow fitting allows LeakyPipe to be laid on the surface or covered in mulch which helps water to wick away from the LeakyPipe. Arrange the LeakyPipe around the plants. Moisture spreads outwards for about 12 inches / 30cm either side. The free ends of the LeakyPipe are sealed with the included 'plugs'.  

In planning your system, think about how you want to create a network of supply pipe to carry water to each of the beds. 20mm or 25mm blue MDPE pipe is ideal for burying underground. MDPE pipe isn't included in this kit, but a tee and elbow compression fittings are included to help you create the network.  Also included is a fitting to connect to your water source - options here include a compression-3/4" adaptor to create a leak-free connection with the bottom of a timer or 3/4" tap thread OR a compression to HoseSnap fitting to allow quick hook-up to standard HoseSnap fittings on normal garden hosepipe. 

This Kit includes a 250m roll of LP12H LeakyPipe, which is designed to be ideal for general purpose watering, working up to 50metres from the barbed connections.  It has proven to last in excess of ten years.

How to customise your kit.

1. Select the number of raised beds you have
2. Select the supply pipe size you intend to use. The fittings will be adjusted to ensure they are compatible with your selection.
3. Choose a hook-up option, dependent on how you plan to feed water into the pipework.
4. Double check the total area of your beds do not exceed 125m2 - this will ensure that 250m of LeakyPipe at 50cm spacing is sufficient for your beds.

Compression tee under each bed will allow creation of a 'riser' to bring the water to the surface of the soil.  Here you will be connecting the Leaky Pipes via the compression elbow.  Run the LeakyPipe near to the plants, - (within 30-50cm as the water will spread laterally) and plug the ends. How to use Leaky Pipe's all-inclusive Garden Hose Kit?

A 100m kit of LeakyPipe and a selection of connectors, including taps to isolate rows of vegetables. 

A starter kit containing 100m of LeakyPipe with a high leak rate (LP12UH) and all the connectors you're likely to need to lay out a watering system, specific to your own vegetable patch. Simply cut the LeakyPipe to match the lengths of your rows with secateurs. Contains enough connectors for 15 rows of vegetables, 10 of which can have isolation taps. Also includes end plugs and 'tee's' to branch the LeakyPipe. 400m Roll of Leaky Pipe Porous Rubber Soaker Hose (LP12H)

LP12H General Purpose LeakyPipe is a porous garden hose which weeps water along its length. It will irrigate 50m lengths of pipe, although several lengths can be watered at once. A standard household tap pressure can water up to 300m LeakyPipe at once. It will not perish or be affected by frost. It is reasonably flexible so you can snake it back and forth to water your borders, beds and shrubs. Arrange as rings or spiral around newly planted trees to aid their establishment. It works most efficiently when covered by a mulch or soil as evaporation is reduced. Overall you use less water with LeakyPipe than watering by hand and it will work out-of-sight whilst you enjoy your garden.

The Original 400m porous hose pipe by Leaky Pipe

Non-porous 20mm pipe to deliver water from its source to the areas you want to water.

50m or 100m roll of a larger diameter black, non-porous, semi rigid plastic pipe, suitable as a permanent feeder pipe for your irrigation system. This pipe is easily cut with a sharp pair of cutters and is compatible with our range of '20' barbed fittings.  The fittings can be gently wiggled into the polytube and will grip on the internal surface without the need for additional clips.  In very cold weather, if it is difficult to insert fittings, try dipping the end into a thermos flask of hot water for about 10 seconds and this will soften the pipe slightly. As the pipe cools, it will shrink onto the barbed fittings.  Fittings can be rotated in the polytube without breaking the seal.

This LDPE (Low Density PolyEthylene) pipe is 20mm external diameter.
